Before joining Kathleen at Compass, Jan has worked for more than eight years as a successful executive relocation expert based in San Francisco, helping executives and their families from all over the world find their new homes in the Bay Area. She has skillfully helped clients define their priorities and then guided them to find an ideal home, considering schools, neighborhoods, commute, culture, and recreation. Before the relocation business, Jan worked in sales management in the wholesale apparel industry, representing leading clothing brands and working with large department store retailers across the country.

Jan was born and raised in California. Living in Mill Valley for the past 27 years, she is actively involved in developing an extensive network, supporting many organizations, and has served on several boards. She enjoys hiking, tennis, skiing and biking with friends and family in her leisure time. Jan is currently in a book club, gourmet dinner club, and a mother's club that she helped start over 20 years ago. Jan and her husband Joe have raised their two children (now in their 20s) in Mill Valley.
